- The carpets must be clean and dry.
- The carpets must be placed on a Euro-pallet (size 80*120 cm), maximally filling
it.
- The carpets must be placed on the palette with as few folds as possible, making
sure that wool coverings of different carpets do not touch.
- The stack of carpets must be stable, its height must be 1,7-2,0 meters, all four
sides of the stack must be vertical.
- The carpets cannot hang over the sides of the pallet.
- The stack must be tied with packing tape in two places in each direction.
- Cardboard spacers must be inserted in the upper corners of the stack between
the packing tapes and the carpets.
- A Packing List must be attached to the top of the stack, showing the number of carpets on that
pallet.
- The shipment of carpets must be wrapped in packing polythene in all its height.
- The carpets cannot be placed in direct sunlight and near electrical appliances,
as well as in places, where they may come in contact with acids, solvents and
other chemicals.
- The carpets should be packed no earlier than three days before transportation.
